The automaker also hasn’t detailed North American-specification Aveos yet, but it did say that European models receive electronic power steering, stability control and ABS all as standard equipment. Several four-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines will be offered over the pond, starting with two 1.2-liter variants (70 and 86 horsepower), a 1.4-liter (100 horsepower) and a 1.6-liter (115 horsepower). Two 1.3-liter diesels (75 and 95 horsepower) will be equipped with fuel-saving start/stop technology.
While the car will continue to be called Aveo in other parts of the world, the Sonic name will be carried out in Canada, Mexico and the United States. It will be sold in more than 50 countries. GM will kick off production of the Sonic in 2011 at GM’s Orion Assembly Center in Michigan, which received a $545-million investment in upgrades and retooling, and will restore approximately 1,000 jobs in the metropolitan Detroit area.
Chevrolet’s next U.S. built small car will be called the Chevrolet Sonic

If you are one of those fortunate individuals who own a BMW motorbike, you are most likely searching for the best BMW motorbike insurance that you can get. Getting an insurance policy for your bike will give you protection and peace of mind that every motorist needs each day. Most people think that this is difficult to find and would often be discouraged to get a bike from this particular brand. However, this is not true - especially with the fact that these days, nothing is impossible to find anymore.
With the help of technological advancement, insurance providers are now easier to find regardless of your location. The reason for this is that most credible providers have a website that offers you the same kind of service as a regular office would. You can get BMW motorbike insurance quotes from them and compare it to other providers before you decide on the one that you like the most. As this can be found online, you have the benefit of getting all the information you may need without having to leave your home or office. You would also be spared from the hassle of traveling or finding time to do so.

2010, however, sees the first of the S1000RR to hit the dealerships - a development in the company that even the project leader, Stefan Zeit, hadn't anticipated when he suggested a BMW sport bike when he first took up the job and was subsequently assured that BMW would never produce one. The fact that the model looks to be the most powerful 1000cc bike on the market has got more than a few heads turned - and a few deposits already laid down too.
So what else does the S1000RR have to offer? Aside from being incredibly powerful, the model also boasts the best power-to-weight ratio available at 183 kg (400 lb) dry and 204 kg (450 lb) wet. There are also many electronic perks such as a ride-by-wire throttle and variable-length intake tracts - as well as optional extras including ABS and traction control. The model has also been noted for its digitally selected sport modes, rain, sport (up to 190 break horsepower), race and slick (for taking onto the track).
Adjustable suspension and ride height also makes each bike easily changeable for each individual rider - and its simplicity is commendable. The model has already entered into the market in high regard, and it seems unlikely that this bike will not remain at the top for some time.

Powered by a 200 horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder, the GTI is an absolute rush to drive. Rocketing the driver from 0-60 miles per hour in just over six seconds, the GTI's greatest strength is its ability to give any driver a grin that will remain for hours. With peak horsepower being felt at a screaming 5100 RPM, drivers can pin down the throttle and enjoy the throaty but refined exhaust note. This car wasn't designed to be a quiet and smooth highway cruiser; no, it was designed to be fast and fun to drive, and the 2010 VW GTI doesn't fail in that goal. For those concerned about the passing ability of a car that only has four cylinders, fear not: This 2.0 liter turbo makes 207 foot-pounds of torque, which is more than enough to accelerate the 3100 pound hot hatch from any speed in most gears. Even better is the fact that the GTI makes peak torque at a lazy 1800 RPM, and retains all of its 207 foot-pounds all the way to 5000 RPM. For drivers who want a more understated driving experience, this ensures that you don't have to pin down the throttle to have fun.

However, there are two things to note. First, the Insight is easily tossed around in the wind. Second, it uses regenerative braking, which means that it harnesses the energy produced when the car brakes and uses it to recharge the battery. Fortunately, the braking system doesn’t interfere with the car’s performance like it does in some hybrids.
Hybrids aren’t built for performance, but the Insight has managed to impress the automotive industry. They say the Insight drives like the Honda Fit, and is rather zippy when driven in the city. However, some say that aggressive freeway traffic may outpace the Insight.
