Once the next generation Impala hits the market, it will go up against the next generation Ford Taurus and a host of other competitors. Still, if GM plays its market planning right, the Impala may have a shot at winning back customers who long since fled the brand for more modern sedans or opted for other Chevy models.
From every angle, Chevrolet Sonic sedan and five-door models convey strength, stability and refinement. A wide, planted stance, with wheels-at-the-corners proportions, conveys performance. Progressive, raked body lines suggest movement even when the car is stationary.
Aggressive cues, including fender flares and motorcycle-inspired round headlamps, are blended with global design cues - a dual-element grille and round taillamps - for a design instantly recognizable as Chevrolet. The leading edge of the hood forms a character line above the headlamps, which flows in a sleek side profile characterized by uninterrupted body side lines, a high beltline and low roofline. The side mirrors carry the same shape as the car and seemingly disappear into the profile.
The sedan and five-door models are distinctively different. The five-door carries a tight, two-box shape with aggressive, diving feature lines, while the sedan's "notchback" profile has a more upscale and mature presence. At first glance, the five-door model looks like a three-door hatch because the rear door handles are discreetly located in the "C"-pillar area. The rear of the five-door continues with unconventional details, including exposed, motorcycle-inspired rear taillamps.
2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 at Chicago Auto Show
The Camaro ZL1 transmission should appeal to enthusiasts who have a need for performance. The transmission is used with a dual-mass flywheel and twin-disc clutch shifting ease and operation. A new, shorter-throw shifter drives the shifting gears. Drivers will be able to bring their rides to a quick, safe stop as this model includes track-capable Brembo brakes.
While tooling down the road, drivers will be able to select tour and sport modes of the coupe's magnetic ride suspension, enhancing shock damping while minimizing body roll. Standard rear stabilizer bars feature drop links that have been repositioned outboard of the control arms, providing effective body roll control. Electric steering has been improved for this model, giving the driver greater feedback.
Louis Chevrolet, who founded the brand with William "Billy" Durant in 1911, was a racer, mechanic and pioneering engineer. He raced in the early years of the Indianapolis 500, which also started in 1911, and served a luminary of the event in the years after he retired his racing helmet. That included driving the official Indianapolis pace car, which was developed by Indy 500 founder Carl Fisher, who believed a rolling start was safer than a standing start. The first Indianapolis 500 featured a pace car driven by Fisher.
The first Chevrolet selected as the Indianapolis 500 pace car was the 1948 Fleetmaster Six. The brand would go on to lead the racing pack more than any other manufacturer.

The calssic cars: 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS
Small Tweaks For The 1967 Model:The 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle only had minor changes from its 1966 predecessor. New chrome bars were added to the front grille. There were also some styling tweaks that gave the Chevelle a leaner and longer appearance, giving it more "proper" look. The rear end added large taillamps to go along with the standard backup lights. Visibly, the tweaks to the '67 Chevy Chevelle were modest.
The '67 Chevrolet Chevelle did have a new dual master cylinder brake system which incorporated a warning light and all models had front disc brakes.
Finding a 1967 Chevelle SS for sale is a dream that many muscle car enthusiasts hold near and dear to their hearts. While the '67 Chevelle SS is by no means a perfect car, it's a wonderful specimen that boasts enough personality to make its flaws endearing.
There were kinks present in the first several years of the Chevelle SS, particularly in the way that the car handled, and driving at top speeds exacerbated these issues. What set the 1967 Chevelle SS for sale apart from those that had come before it were the improvements in this area.
These most basic of these changes was the upgrade from the standard rayon two-ply 7.75x14 tires to low profile F70X14s with nylon belts. Chevy also reconfigured the steering system including the wheel so that grip and steering response were dramatically improved.
The feel in the car when one changes direction, especially at high speed, is what separates the 1967 Chevelle SS most from the 1964-1966 Chevelle SSs. The designers also improved braking with the new front disc brakes that were available as an option along with the purposeful 14-inch slotted wheels that were included standard.
Enthusiasts should note that it is possible to customize the 1964-1966 Chevelle SSs to include similar handling improvements. However, the 1967 Chevelle SS provides a particular handling that one cannot easily match with a simple upgrade, and this is part of the vehicle's allure.
Lots Of Choices With The '67 Chevelle
When a buyer was interested in purchasing a 1967 Chevelle, they often had lots of choices and options. It often made it a tough task to choose the right Chevelle for them. First there was the engine choice. The base model had a V-8 with 325 horsepower. There was also an Super Sport or SS version of '67 Chevelle which offered a 350 horsepower 396 ci V-8. If the buyer went the SS route, they would have an exclusive grille design, rocker moldings that were gray-toned, bright wheel well moldings and a domed hood with dummy air intake slots. There was also "Quick-Size" version of the SS 396 which came as a sport coupe or a convertible. These were advertised as "the car for the Driving Man". There was a Chevelle Station Wagon available as for purchase as well.
After the engine choice, the buyer would have to select from no less than six transmissions that were available for the 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle. These included two three-speed transmissions, a four-speed version, two automatic transmissions and an overdrive transmission. Some other options available for the '67 Chevelle included Strato-ease headrests, Superlift air shock absorbers and special instrumentation.
Chevrolet's big news in 1967 would be the introduction of the Camaro. Although this was the case, the Chevelle was a more traditional "sporty" vehicle. It could be bought as a 2-door hardtop or a convertible and its manual-shift feature of the Turbo Hydra-Matic transmission helped make the '67 Chevelle a very hot seller in 1967.

Chevrolet Astro Cargo Van holds three doors
A passenger mini van, the 2005 Chevrolet Astro Cargo Van holds three doors. Yet, it only has a maximum passenger capacity of two people. The rest of the space is made essentially for cargo and packages. It has been constructed so as to be able to transport and delivery these to other locations. Aside from that, this vehicle also has been made available in two trim levels which comprise of the Rear Wheel Drive and the All Wheel Drive. 2005 is the last year of production and manufacturing for this vehicle.
Introduced in 1985, Chevy’s Astro is a multi-purpose van that effectively competed with rival Dodge’s Plymouth Voyager and various van models of the Japanese manufacturer Toyata. It is a versatile van and could be used as a standard passenger van or a cargo van. The Astro is also used as the base for ‘converted vans’ designed for a variety of uses. General Motor’s Safari, a truck-based platform, is the sibling of the hardworking Astro.

Detail Review 2010 Chevrolet Colorado (Truck)
This pickup truck is developed and manufactured at GM's plant in Rayong and Sherveport Louisiana. Colorado is available with both manual and automatic gear transmission. 2010 Colorado compensate for its fault via affordability and wide variety of power trains. This pickup model from Chevrolet faces some challenges from Dodge Dakota, Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Frontier. National base price of 2010 Colorado is around $ 16, 985 which excludes destination charges.
The Chevrolet Colorado is Chevrolet's entry in the compact truck market. The only engine available in this light truck is a 2.9 liter four cylinder engine. In opting for a large displacement four cylinder configuration, Chevrolet tried to capture the fuel economy inherent in a four cylinder engine, while also capturing the horsepower of a six cylinder engine with the larger displacement. And most drivers and critics agree that this truck's engine is a good blend of the two attributes. The 2.9 liter four cylinder produces one hundred eighty-five horsepower at five thousand six hundred revolutions per minute, and, befitting a truck, it produces one hundred ninety pounds of torque at two thousand six hundred revolutions per minute.
The Environmental Protection Agency has rated the fuel economy of the truck at eighteen miles per gallon in city driving, and twenty-five miles per gallon on the highway. The powerful engine gives the compact truck a payload capacity of one thousand four hundred and eighty four pounds, and a towing capacity of four thousand pounds when fitted properly. While performance is not normally the first thing that comes to mind when buying a pickup, the automobile compares well with the competitors in its class. The truck accelerates from zero to sixty miles per hour in nine and six-tenths seconds, and covers the quarter mile in seventeen and three-tenths seconds with a maximum speed of eighty-three miles per hour. Whether for performance, towing capability, or payload capacity, the vehicle competes very well against the competition.

all New Chevrolet Trailblazer SS Plus the Chevrolet Performance
After producing the Chevrolet Trailblazer for nine years from 2002 to 2009, General Motors discontinued operation and production of the Trailblazer and opted against the production of the 2010 Trailblazer. This was largely due to a budget cuts across General Motors. While it was in production, the Trailblazer was a very popular choice for those people looking for an American made medium size SUV.
GM's High Performance Vehicle Operations tuned the suspension and upgraded the brakes of the SS. It features stiffer springs, an inch lower ride height, and thicker anti-roll bars, as well as standard StabiliTrak stability control. Larger, 12.8-inch diameter front brake discs are fitted, allied to new iron twin-piston calipers, while the monster twenty-inch aluminum wheels have 255/50 V-rated tires.

the 2009 CHEVROLET camaro more muscle car.
There are a number of things that I like about the 2009 camaro, But will it pick up where the first generation camaro left off, or will it build a legacy all it's own, I think it's going to be somewhere in between, I don't see it raising eyebrows like the first generation camaro did.
It has it's good points, and it's bad points, I'm going to start with the good points about it, first of all Chevrolet has done a great job in the engine area of the car, using the best of new technology to build horsepower, and keeping it low in the emissions area,It could go either way, we'll see what the progression of the camaro brings over the years, with just a few small changes it could be a top contender for one of the best new muscle cars on the market, all Chevrolet need to do is pay a bit more attention to the people buying the car, and they will have the full idea.
It has just enough of the old to get my vote to be a real contender for the gold, it could use a few more engine options, the rear quarter panels are perfect also, but a little work on the tail lights wouldn't hurt the 2009 camaro, make them a little less import looking, and a little more muscle car.

HARLEY DAVIDSON, Choosing Insurance for Your Bike
Collision insurance will help pay for the replacement or repair of your own bike should something happen to it, and full, or comprehensive coverage pays for everything, including heft, vandalism and all costs associated with any accidents you may be involved in.
Once you decide on the type of insurance you want and the deductible you're comfortable with, it's time to start shopping around. The best way to find a good deal is to talk to other bikers in your community to see what carrier they use and what cover ages they carry. After that, the decision is yours. The important thing is to get what you need for a price that you can afford.
The first thing you'll have to decided when purchasing motorcycle insurance is what type of coverage you want and need. If you've taken out a loan to buy your bike, your creditors will more than likely require you to purchase full coverage until the loan is paid in full, but if you were lucky enough to pay cash for your bike (or handle financing in some other fashion), than you may be able to decided exactly how much insurance you really need and want to pay for.
Liability coverage allows you to carry a low premium, but keep in mind it doesn't cover any of your costs associated with an accident, theft or vandalism. It is basically a policy to cover the other guy and any costs you may find yourself responsible for.

2010 The BMW Z4 Gets Two Engine Options
It has a long bonnet, a much lower waistline, a rear wheel drive system, and two seats set close to the floor. And this is the 2006 BMW Z4 Roadster. And it has been said that this vehicle follows the unwritten rules of the roadster ethic because of its characteristics. It has a front axle aluminum spring strut configuration with a precise rank and pinion steering. Just made specifically for the 2006 BMW Z4 Roadster is the rear axle and this axle is very much able to withstand the forces that are applied by different things and factors that include the driver, the road, and the whole 368 pounds per foot of torque.
The BMW Z4, along with its Z3 predecessor, have been staples in the BMW roadster lineup for over a decade. With a firm suspension, rigid construction, and high-powered engine, the Z4 has been known to take any driver from zero to hero in no time flat. Utilizing the same inline-6 cylinder engine that's made the BMW 3 series the most popular mid-sized cars in the world, the Z4 commands the respect of any driver who knows the capabilities of the car. On the mountain roads, or just driving to the store, the Z4 shines with its true colors.

2010 Ford Bronco Headlights
Bronco was first introduced by Ford in 1966. It was used mainly for trails and had the ability to negotiate rough roads. It can be called the first sport utility vehicle which could serve as a family sedan, sports roadster, farm vehicle, or even a truck. Since then it has undergone continuous changes with some important changes in 1975 and 1992. However, it was not manufactured after 1996. In the beginning it was a small two door SUV. Later on its size was increased to full size. Some people still preferred the earlier compact car. Its power was increased and its body styling and interior were upgraded. A new grille was added and its front was improved. All Broncos were four wheel drive vehicles.
Though it was discontinued in 1996 it still retains its reputation of a tough and durable car. You can even now upgrade its looks by changing the accessories. Headlights are one of the most visible accessories which can impart a new look and feel to the car. They are available in a number of styles. By smartly choosing Bronco headlights you can give your car an exclusive look which can set it apart from other cars. They show you the way when visibility is poor and prevent unexpected to happen. The Bronco headlight assembly mainly includes the source of light, reflectors, lenses, and housing. There are devices to tilt the reflectors to cast the beam of light in the desired direction.

The lights can be dimmed if it is feared that they may blind the driver of the vehicle coming from the opposite side. They contribute to safety on the road in a big way when the visibility is poor. They have, therefore, to conform to the regulations made by the authorities concerned. The headlights have to be sufficiently bright to be able to cover a longer stretch of road.. Fortunately now we have new and brighter sources of light like LED lights, Xenon lights etc.2011 Volkswagen Amarok pickup Highline will cost from £21,575.

2011 BMW 335i Series Convertible
Exclusive, uncompromising, open - bring the sky within reach and have the wind at your side with the BMW 3 Series Convertible. Its powerful engines, discerning design and a retractable hardtop remind us that the boundary between form and function can be incredibly fine.
Headlight design, taillamp detailing, outside mirrors and interior appearance were created specifically for coupes. Two-doors feature a long wheelbase, short overhangs, a setback passenger compartment, and a low, sleek roofline. The long hood reflects BMW's tradition of inline six-cylinder engines. Corona light rings that serve as BMW-distinctive daytime running lights accent the standard xenon adaptive headlights.
Rear occupants in the four-passenger coupes have a center console between individual seats with separate storage boxes, additional air outlet vents, and footwell lights. Standard leatherette upholstery comes in Black or Cream Beige, with leather optional. BMW's iDrive controller is an option, too. One helpful feature is the seatbelt feeder arm, which automatically moves forward, presenting the seatbelt to the driver and front passenger when doors are closed and the key inserted. Access to rear seats has been made easier, according to BMW, but it's still a chore for the less agile.
There's nothing the least bit gaudy or garish about a 3 Series coupe, which relies strictly upon clean lines and smooth curves to establish its presence. Performance is precisely as energetic as expected from BMW. The twin-turbo engine has all the go-power anyone will need, available in an instant. In typical BMW form, the manual gearbox shifts with ease and finesse, requiring a mere flick of the wrist. Adeptly matched to the gearbox, BMW's clutch engages with smooth confidence.

Detail Interior the 2011 New Ferrari FF Presentation in Maranello
At its front however, the FF is all Ferrari taking a lot of its styling cues from the Scaglietti it replaces and giving little indication of the alternative rear of the model. It features a wide-spaced front grille and two iterations of the iconic prancing horse.
The FF also grabs the headlines for its engine arrangement.
Under the bonnet it will hold the most powerful engine Ferrari has ever built in the form of a new 6.2-litre V12 engine. Mated to a transaxle dual-clutch F1 transmission, the FF has a massive output of 650bhp allowing the car to clear 0-62mph in 3.7seconds with a top speed of 208mph.
This translates into wince-inducing CO2 emissions of 360g/km and a combined fuel consumption of 18.3mpg - a slight improvement on the 612 Scaglietti whose 470g/km CO2 emissions and 13.8mpg combined cycle were shocking.
Another area the FF improves on its predecessors is in terms of practicality. Despite retaining Ferrari's typical three-door arrangement, it is longer and taller than the 612 Scaglietti meaning interior space and luggage space is not far off the Ford Focus estate.
Those of you that would like to get an up close peek at Ferrari's first-ever four-wheel drive model that also features a front mounted 660HP V12 and seating for four with a boot capacity of 450 liters, will have to make plans to visit next month's Geneva Motor Show, which will host the FF's world premiere.
