Main car manufacturers in the world are becoming more and more interested in the Taxi, Chauffeur and private hire market and recognise the potential this market has in promoting the cars of the future since a chauffeur driven car or an executive car service driver is likely to spend 70% or more of its lifetime on the roads of cities like London as opposed to the private car that may only spend 10% doing the same.
The British sports and performance car manufacturer may have been the biggest surprise at the Paris Motor Show this year. Following in the footsteps of other sports car and executive car manufacturers such as Porsche, Aston Martin and Maserati we now find another potential London chauffeur driven car in the shape of the Lotus Eterne. What remains to be seen is what price it will be retailed at and if the figures add up to be worth it put on the roads of the UK as a chauffeur hire car.

2011 Lotus Elite is also somewhat similar in subtle ways
The T-Mobile My Touch phone has the latest addition - the 3G Slide. T-Mobile My Touch 3G slide is equipped with a right slide keypad with QWERTY interface. The symbols share space with the letter keys, but it gets easier to type faster once you get familiar with it. The T - Mobile My Touch 3G Slide is fit with the latest rendering of Android, the 2.1 version, and has all the functions that the version is capable of. The ergonomic and compact phone also comes with a spanking new user friendly vibe that is incorporated in the feel as well as the sleek looks. The exceptional calling quality gets some points, as does the remarkably fast 3G functions. There are also some excellent additional applications, like the MyTouch Music. The LG Lotus Elite is also somewhat similar in subtle ways.
Performance in the phone has been greatly enhanced. The design has been made superior to the previous, as well as the display. The dearth of key features which was palpable in the previous iPhone has been sorted, and the iOS 4 update is really useful as well.

The 2014 Lotus Elite new car design concept model marks the return of the car maker brand to the premium GT automobile market niche, left in 2004 when the Esprit went out of vehicle production. The futuristic metallic 2014 Lotus Elite aerodynamic body exterior design front end has a shark-inspired design through an arrow-shaped hood; large air intakes included in the spoiler and elongated headlights with carbon trimmed surroundings. The aluminum blades placed behind the front wheels are reminiscent of shark gills.

Seen from the top, the Elite showcases several distinctive elements: the large glass surface that integrates the windshield, the innovative car roof and the rear window, the car air outlets positioned behind the headlights and the wing shaped rear view cameras that replace the conventional side mirrors. The 2014 Lotus Elite will be powered by a front- mid positioned 5.0 liter V8 engine delivering up to 620 PS.

Lotus Evora For Police Cars
PC Steven Rounds from, CMPG said: “The Lotus is a visually stunning machine which offers us the opportunity to engage with the public, reinforce and promote the life-saving messages of road safety.

Lotus has loaned a brand new Evora to the boys in blue at the Central Motorway Police Group (CPMG). The police-liveried version of the British sports car was officially revealed at this week's Autosport International Show at Birmingham’s NEC. Once its show duties are over, the sports car maker will hand the keys of the Evora to West Midland's police officers who will then trial the car for a two week test period.

I don't pretend to know much about cars, but I know what I like and I like Lotus cars. They're sexy, fast, fun to drive and you're guaranteed to turn heads when you're driving one, and isn't that what driving is all about? The model I like in particular is the Lotus Exige S. Ok, so it's not the easiest of cars to get into, but once you mastered the art of that it's actually a very comfortable ride. There's not buckets of space inside the cabin, but this isn't a car you'd take on a camping trip - this car was made for driving.

A lotus experience is a great choice of experience day for anyone who wants a real joy of a car to drive as well as something that's going to shift pretty quickly and provide a rewarding drive when cornering at high speed!

When you're buying a Lotus, you don't want to be driving it in the city. Sitting in traffic jams, praying for temporary lights to stay green ("please don't change!"), and avoiding potholes and speed bumps is hardly fun. No, a Lotus is meant for the open road - the wide, open, twisty roads of the British countryside where the only hold up is when you pull over to admire the view.

Thrilling Driving experiences will leave you with a natural high, the speed, acceleration, and sound of a stupidly high powered car revving it's nuts off really is quite something. Contact us for experience dates, trackday locations or any driving experience you require.

2011 The Lotus-Exige-Scura
One of my favourite places to drive is in the south-west of England, particularly Devon and Dorset where the roads are clear of traffic and the views are simply stunning. Maybe one day I'll drive my new Lotus Exige S in Dorset, but for now I'll have to stick with my trusty Ford Fiesta.

Oversteering, on the other hand can be seen quite easily, but just as easily corrected. Overall the Lotus handles great on the road and comes into it's own on the racetrack. I believe it has been nicknamed the mosquito because it can manoevre at high speeds just like a mosquito can, which as a Lotus experience makes for an amazing driving day.

Paris 2015 Lotus-Elise Appear
However as much as I love this car, I feel I must say that it's not perfect. The indicator stalks are still sourced from the Vauxhall Senator parts bin which I feel could at least have used the Ford set up from the Lotus Evora or why not a nice set of their own? I understand that this car is all about economy but if you close your eyes and fire the engine up you would think you are in a Toyota Avensis, one of the dullest machines on the road. Such a disappointing engine sound, however this changes when you drive the Elise. Once taken past a certain engine rev limit a second camshaft opens up, producing a much satisfying deeper engine tone whilst aiding the power. I can't winge about the boring engine sound on this new Elise, if they had added a sporty exhaust system then the emissions would have been higher and thus taking the whole point away of this car. If you want that then get the next model up or better still an Evora if you have the money. The Elise is a car for anyone, it's at home in a supermarket car park as it would be with a WAG. Qwerky, iconic and owned by many celebrities including Jay Lo, Jennifer Lopez or what ever she wants to call herself. Oh and one other thing.. dead flies on the windscreen. Both of which will put everyone off wanting to buy a Lotus Elise. Not bad if that's all I can find to moan about.
Paris 2015 Lotus-Elise Appear
The first model of the sports car of the Lotus Company is the Lotus Elise which was released in the month of September in 1995. And the company had gained so much response that they had launched the 2 main types of this model: the first model is of the Lotus Elise of Series 1 and other is of Series 2.

This is the new entry level Elise, powered by its smallest engine yet. A 1.6 litre Toyota unit, coupled with a new 6 speed gearbox. This car is all about economy and at £27,000 offers supercar looks for sales rep saloon money. Now for the part that appeals to me. 56 mpg is impressive and must be considered a huge attraction with its 500 mile range. The team at Lotus have nick named this car the 149 due to its low emission output of 149g of Co2 per Km. I just think it's a nice way of saying 'yes we have the worlds most eco friendly petrol powered sports car. With the confidence of a reliable Japanese powerplant the Elise is kind of in its little world. Of course there are rival brands and models to consider but all of these lack the little Lotus's charm, lines and stunning drive. Don't think that the small engine makes the Lotus experience any less either. It doesn't. It will reach 60 mph in just 6 seconds and is capable of making you grin with ease. This new Elise handles, grips and snoggs the road like a teenage love affair, you could almost forgive yourself to think that winding roads and bends were designed 100 years ago as these industrial pioneers knew that someday a car would be built to drive around them without almost flat out.
New Generations The Lotus Elise
This new Elise has been subtly tweeked. At the rear a deeper defuser aid the exciting airflow reducing drag while at the front a similar thing, although you wouldn't really know it. Lotus has always been about weight saving rather than monstrous amounts of power and this Elise is still true, weighing in at just 876 kg. This is not a car for those that want to drive flat out everywhere. It's a great touring car with this engine. Capable of keeping up but definitely not that quick. But once again I don't need to state that, this Elise is what it is. A low powered Lotus that won't get you into trouble unless you slap its face and make it angry. I am definitely of the opinion that this car, as with any little Lotus is not just a car but more of a part of you and should be described as a being rather than an object. You don't drive an Elise, you wear it like a well fitting shoe.
New Generations The Lotus Elise
The first model of the Lotus which was launched is of 680kg which is around 1500 lb. Besides this, the driving of the car is absolutely amazing because the models of the car have the perfect ability to accelerate, corner and brake. Due to this reason the weight of the cars can be compared to the Porsche. Another interesting fact is about the engine of the car. The Porsche was having the engine of 201bhp which is around 149 kW, but the cars of the Lotus was working brilliant on 120bhp or 89 kW.

Few automakers are as deeply rooted in motorsport as Lotus. So it comes as no surprise that, so soon after its release, the British sportscar-maker and engineering firm has already come out with a racing version of its new Evora.

Tagged with the Type 124 label, the new sportscar is converted from four seats to one, but the stripped-out, competition-spec interior is only the tip of the proverbial iceberg for the GT3-spec racer. The Toyota-sourced V6, which produces 280 horses in road-going spec, has been reworked to the tune of 400 horsepower, driving the rear wheels from its midship placement via a new sequential gearbox. Carbon-composite body panels, 18-inch racing slicks hiding six-pot AP Racing calipers, a track-focused suspension and wings aplenty round out the package, which will make its race debut right here in Germany at the Nurburgring 24 in May 2010. But you can check it out now in the gallery of live shots below.
2010 Lotus Exige should also check out the Porsche Cayman
The way a Lotus Exige drives is nothing short of spectacular, while it is rear wheel drive is experiences almost zero understeer when driven correctly, you point it in the direction you want to go in and it goes there!

Other Sports Cars to Consider
Shoppers interested in the 2010 Lotus Exige should also check out the Porsche Cayman. It doesn’t accelerate as quickly as the 2010 Lotus Exige, but provides more horsepower, has a higher top speed and handles just as marvelously. It's also a lot more luxurious and starts at nearly $14K less.
